‘House of the Dragon’ Release Schedule
The upcoming House of the Dragon movie is set to release on February 14, 2019. The film is directed by Rob Cohen and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pratt, and Andy Serkis. The cast also includes Toby Jones, Lucy Boynton, James Franco, Shea Whigham, Eugene Levy and Jenna Elfman.
In a press release announcing the release date and cast list for the movie, production company 20th Century Fox stated: “Directed by Rob Cohen (“X-Men: First Class”) and written by Aaron Sorkin (“The Social Network”), “House of the Dragon” tells the extraordinary story of a young woman (Jennifer Lawrence) who teams up with a legendary thief (Chris Pratt) to take down her father’s killers.”
Fox has also released a first look at the opening scene from the movie which you can see below. In it, Lawrence’s character Alice is in prison awaiting execution when she is offered clemency if she helps lead a prison break. Pratt’s character Peter agrees to help her orchestrate the breakout but has ulterior motives.
